About Shane
From Way Back
Once a member of the Iowa-famous bar band, The Coda, Shane started playing in bars at the age of 15. Early on, he experienced the power of music, the prowess of a stage, and the lifelong love of the two in harmony.
Philosophy
Words, rhythm, melody, and harmony are the ingredients of our soul. I believe in having a good time and loving the moment.
Music, I will always love you as one of the greatest artistic expressions and I have no expectations that it will ever love me back.
The Goal
I have no illusions—the music business is not meant for everyone.
I can only hope to enjoy moments with my guitar and craft a few beautiful songs that touch someone in a moment where they might be needing something.
Maybe one day, after playing in my favorite Hill Country taverns, a person far more talented than me will choose to sing one of my songs and turn it into the most beautiful thing I always knew it could be.
